Sylvia Plath.

Has anyone heard of this interesting woman? I read her only novel "The Bell Jar" a few days ago (in German) and I must say, I'm in love with her. "The Bell Jar" tells a story of a young woman, Esther Greenwood, who is going through a deep depression, caused by the pressure of requirements which she doesn't want to meet and inner emptiness.
I've heard that Sylvia is huge in the US but still, I thought I'd introduce her to you. This novel is truly recommendable.
