Hi All,
This is my new track where I am doing a Tamil (my mother tongue) verse for my Country's (Malaysia) 50th year of Independence which would be on the 31st of August.
you can stream the song from the Imeem link on my signature and feedbacks are appreciated or visit: http://iloveshazzy.imeem.com/music/mjBGGNUe/muhibbah_featuring_muslee_ramlee_ming_the_chin_vix starr_trickjay/
This would be aired on local radio stations as it is a project by our National TV/Radio station here in Malaysia. It would also be used as a montage for a local sitcom which would be aired in commemoration with our Independence celebration.
The track itself is in 3 different languages which is Malay (The National Language), Mandarin (A Chinese Language, it is also the Official language for the Chinese community in this country) and Tamil (An Indian Language, it is also the Official language for the Indian community in this country). You may also hear the hypeman on the track who hypes the track up with English words, which would also be the only part you understand. But i am posting this here to give you a brief idea on how the languages sound.
The chorus (and some of the ad-libs) for this track are sung/spoken by a local artiste Muslee Ramlee to add a comical touch to the track. The Mandarin verse is done by a local Emcee Ming the Chin from a group called KLG Sqwad and the Malay verse is done by a local Malay Emcee Shazee.
I am on the last verse which is in Tamil. Please let me know what you think of the track.
I know this is a long winded explanation but let me know what y'all think of it. Thank you.
Peace
